Officers Chosen For Student Body Jerry Hcaly, Hcppner High st-hoof junior, was elected pres ident o( the associated student body in an election held Mav 3 at tiie high school. Mclvin Ash beck was elected vice-oresident: jui raauerg, secretary; Lee liu son. serccant at arms: Deb bie Warren, assistant treasurer; and Mary Kay Hughes, business manager. General elections were held April 25, but it was necessary to hold a runoff election between the two top candidates for each office, due to the fact that no one person captured the major ity of possible votes in the prev ious election. Other candidates for the office of president were Mark Tullis, Sheryl Britt and Terry Peck. Vice-presidential candidates were Larry Fettyiohn. Pat Kilkenny. Teresa Harshman and Robbie Abrams. Candidates running for the position of secretary were Jill Chitty, Sherl Brock and Sue Greenup. Sereeant-at-arms can didates included John Harris, Bob Peck and Rick Marquardt. Candidates for the position of business manager were Sandy Matheny, Linda Cooper and Jeanine Hunt. New officers will be Installed at an awards assembly schedul ed for May 27, when other stu dent body awards will be pre sented.
