Sandwiches and salads were then served by the hostess grange. Jack Yocom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Yocom, is a patient in Pioneer Memorial hospital in Heppner. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Munkers have been Salem nnd Portland callers. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Graham and son Gordon were visitors at the C. C. Jones home over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Max Breeding and sons of Portland visited his mother, Mrs. Lola Breeding, ov er the week-end. Mrs. Breeding was injured in a car accident on of Agriculture, Salem, Oregon. Dr. ond Mrs. L. D. Tibbies left Wednesday morning from Pen dleton, from where they flew to Portland for departure by jet for Buffalo, N. Y., where they will spend time visiting their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lance Tibbies and son Thad. The Tibbies plan to do some sightseeing in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia before beginning the trip home. Enroute, they plan to visit Mrs. Tibbies' mother, Mrs. I. M. Turn age, and other relatives in Maysville, Mo., before resuming the trip home by car. The coup le plans to be gone about a month. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Wicker sham and children, David, Lin da, Keith and Janet, of Portland, spent Saturday and Sunday vis iting here with Loren's grand mother, Mrs. Amanda Duvall. The Wickershams went home in a new Ford country sedan, which was purchased locally from the Heppner dealer.
