Mi Lad is to Show 'Holiday Fashions' At Bowling Tourney Second in a series of fashion shows will bo presented at Fi esta Bowl Saturday night, De cember 9, with the hosts, Art and Joann Dyek, extending a cordial welcome to the public to attend. There in no charge for the show, and la held in conlunction with Fiesta Bowl's 5-game men's and women's handicap tournament, now un derway. A cood response was enloyed by those attending the first fashion show on November 18. MiLadles Apparel shop, own ed by Mrs. Grace Buschke and .Mrs. Alice Hastings, will pre sent "llolldny Fashions". Mod els of the "younger set" will be featured in fashions which will be appealing for wear during the holiday season. Adults will also get a preview of what is available at MiLadies shop for their holiday and winter needs. Weekly prizes for bowlers are also a highlight or the tourna ment, which is being held each Saturday night until January 1. Wrights to Observe Golden Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Orian Wright will be honored on the occas ion of their 50th wedding an niversary at a public reception on Sunday afternoon, December 17. Their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and -Mrs. Albert (Jun ior) Wright are opening their country home in the Ruggs area to relatives and the many friends of the couple in the sur rounding areas of Heppner, Hermiston and Pendleton, invit ing them to call between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. to extend anniversary greetings to the couple. Eastern Star to Hold Annual Yule Party The spirit of Christmas will prevail at the next regular meet ing of Ruth Chapter No. 32, Order of the Eastern Star, on Monday evening, December 11. He is confined at home for the pres. ent and expected to return to Pendleton for a checkup this week. McCarty had a cyst re moved from his lower back.
