Under the "Moonlight Sale" plan, merchants will close their stores at 5 p.m. and then will reopen at 7 p.m. to offer spe cial bargains to the public. Stores then will be open until 10 p.m. with the extraordinary values being sold during the three-hour period only. The merchants also made plans for Crazy Days on October 27 and 28. A kids' parade for this event is being considered with the possibility of offering prizes for the best costumes. Prizes may also be offered to the merchants who dress in the "craziest" costumes for the event. It is planned to hold regular meetings of the merchants com mittee on the third Friday of each month with luncheon at 1 p.m. in the Wagon Wheel cafe. on to Redmond where they vis ited the reindeer farm and at the homes of Mrs. Wayne Martin (Peggy pioyhar) and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith (Fern Jones). The film is sponsored by the U. S. National Bank and has been re ceiving acclaim for its pictorial presentation of the state. Showing of the film was ar ranged by Gene Pierce, presi dent of the Bank of Eastern Oregon.
