bids on construction of five
structures on the Stanfield
Junction-Pendleton section of
the Old Oregon Trail (I -SON),
aDout 17 miles west of Pendle
ton.
Project plans call for widen
ing the existing bridge over the
Umatilla River and constructing
a new bridge over the Umatilla
River for the other two lanes of
the freeway, plus the construe
tion of three small bridges for
the ditch rider road. Grading
and paving are already under
contract. Completion time of the
project is 360 calendar days.
