Klnehart at All Saints' Kplsoopal church at 2:00 p.m. White Kngllsh chrys anthemums and white gladioli In tall standards were at the Itar, flanked by candleabra holding tall white tapers. White k-w bows marked the center tale. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was lovely In a gown of white satin, fashion ed bv the bride. The graceful Aline skirt extended Into a flowing chapel train, and her finger tip Illusion veil fell from white aatln and pearl pillbox headdress. She carried a bridal bouquet of large white phlane posis orchids. Matron of honor was Mrs. Ber nard Damon, Kugene, it is tor of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Kath leen Walsh. Wychoff, N. J., sis ter of the groom, and Miss Lcn dine Smith, Sacramento, Calif., close friend of the bride. The three attendants were gowned In shocking pink crepe street length dresses, fashioned In the A line style. Thcv car ried bouquets of white English chrysanthemums. Their head dresses of shocking pink tulle were held with matching pink satin bows. I'laying the traditional wed ding selections was Mrs. C. C. Ciirmlchael, organist, who also accompanied Mrs. Dirk Klnehart when she sang the selection, "Mv Perfect Love". Tapers were lit before the cer emony by Jimmy Schaffitz, Ileppner. Marcle Carnes, La Grnndo, served as flower girl and ring hearers were John and Mark Damon, nephews of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was Joe Odryzwolskl of Ni agara Kails, N. Y, Ushers were Bernard Dnmon, Eugene, and Amos Gardlin, Seattle, Wn. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Graham chose to wear a beige brocade afternoon dress with matching accessories. Mrs. Mary Winterholdcr, of Lncka waxen, Pa., grandmother of the groom, attended In a pale blue and pink lace afternoon dress. Following the ceremony, the couple greeted their many wed ding guests at a reception In the church parish hall. Guests were served from a long damask-covered table, cen tered by a beautiful four-tiered wedding cake, decorated with pink roses and topped with a white wedding bell. Green ivy encircled the base of the cake, flanked by tapers In crystal candleabra decorated with pink and white carnations. An art istic background for the serving table watt a bank of gardenia foliage and white candleabra. After the newlyweds had cut the first slice, the cake was served by Mrs. Ed Schaffitz and Mrs. P. W. Muhoney. Pouring were Mrs. John LaSota, Scotts dale, Ariz., aunt of the groom, and Mrs. Raymond Ferguson. Attending the gift table was Mrs. Dick Robinson, and Mrs. Robert Laughlin presided at the guest book. Beverly LaSota, cousin of the bride, passed out the groom's cakes. Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Pat O'Malley, Tlgard; Mrs. Delbert Piper, Lexington, and Mrs. Jim Bothum, Pendle ton, former schoolmates of the bride. In charge of decorating, help ing in the kitchen and about a cream beige ensemble with shocking pink accessories for their wedding trip to Phoenix, ArU. They will make their new home In Fresno, Calif., where Mr. Walsh has accepted a teach ing position for the coming year. Following her gradua 1 1 o n from Heppner High school, the bride graduated from Oregon State University. The groom U a graduate of Arizona State Un iversity at Tempe. The couple and their wedding party were feted at a rehearsal dinner Friday evening. June 9, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Mahoney. Hosts, with the SOCIETY Rodeo Court Family Entertained June 14 By Parents of Queen Mr. and Mm. Raymond French and daughter, Queen Verlna of the Morrow County Fair and Rodeo court, were hosts Thurs day evening, June 22, for a din ner get-together for the girls of the court, their parents, chap, eron and members of the Mop row County Rodeo Board. The dinner, held In the ban quet room of the Wagon Wheel restaurant, followed an after noon session when the girls met together In Heppner wear ing their official outfits to have the court pictures taken. Mrs. French presented each member of the court with a burlap tote-bag trimmed to match her parade outfit. The hand-made bags will get much use this summer as the girls travel to various events to rep resent Morrow county. Guests for the dinner includ ed Queen Verlna, Princess Linda Tatone and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tatone, Koardman; Princess Maureen Doherty and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Doherty of Lexing ton; Princess Bernlece Matthews and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Matth ews, lone; Princess Ruby Ful- leion and Mr. and Mrs. Kolcc Kulleton. Twelve high school classmates gathered at the Robinson home to exchange memories and to present the honor guest with an electric mixer for her future home. RANKAMERICaRD 3 ORIIN Bridal Shower Party Honors Tass Morrison Cheryle (Tass) Morrison was complimented at a bridal show er on Thursday afternoon, June IS, at the Masonic Hall. She op ened her gifts at a linen covered table decorated with lovely bou quets of pink gladioli placed at each end. Assisting with the gifts were Karen McCurdy, Su san Llndstrom, and Mrs. James Martin of Portland. Guests were served refresh ments at a white satin covered tea table centered with an ar rangement of yellow and soft orange colored roses, the colors which the bride has chosen for her wedding. A lovely decorated cake in the same colors was served. Hostesses for the party were Mrs. cieii Kea, Mrs. Lewis Hal vorsen, Mrs. Lloyd Morgan, Mrs. E. M. Brlstow, Mrs. Lloyd Rice, Mrs. John Eubanks, and Mrs. Paul Pettyjohn. Miss Morrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jodie K. Morrison, Is attending summer school at Oregon State this summer and a late summer wedding Is planned. Oslunds Are Guests At Wilkinson Home Visiting Mrs. Wavcl Wilkin son and family are her daugh ter, Mrs. Walt (Frances) Oslund, and her granddaughter Judy, of Newcastle, Wyo. Judy and her two sisters, Nan cy and Carol Sue have been fre quent visitors to Heppner. This summer Nancy and Carol Sue are attending summer school at the University of Wyoming; in the fall both will enroll at Tem ple Buell College In Denver where Carol, a Junior and honor scholarship recipient, will be president of the Student Nation al Education Assn. and vice president of Chimes, the Junior honor society. Nancy, also an honor scholarship recipient, will be a freshman. She is past stu dent body vice-president of Newcastle High, a member of the Northwest States Select Choir for 1967 and twice mem ber of the Wyoming all-state choir. Judy came directly to Hepp ner from Wyoming American Legion Girls' State. While here, she Is also visiting her cousins, Jody and Jill Rugg at Parkers Mill. Mr. Oslund is employed in Newcastle as president and gen eral manager of Plains Pipe Line, a crude oil carrier, and Is a director of the National Bank of Newcastle. HEPPNER GAZETTE-TIMES, Thursday. June 29. 1967 Mrs. OllT Hughes returned to the home of her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hughes, In Sweet Home on Tuesday, where she will help care for the fam ily while the daughter-in-law is helping in the school's "head start" summer program. She ac companied Mrs. Tom Hughes and boys who are moving to Monroe. Tom will work through the summer at Tupper Guard Station, and Pam Is helping in a summer camp for crippled children in Southern Oregon.
