Sealed bids will be received up to 2:00 p m. of the 19th day of June, 1967 and bid award will be made bv the Morrow Coun ty School District R-l board at their regular meeting of June 19th. 1967, at 8:00 p.m. Each proposal must be accompanied bv the guarantee of responsible sureties to furnish bond equal to the total amount bid, If the proposal is accepted. The character of the work is as follows: The construction of the above mentioned residence at lone, Oregon. Plans and specifications are on file with the school district clerk, and may be had on ap plication to the clerk after May 29. 1967, at the school district office at Lexington, Oregon on deposit of the sum of $10.00 for each set of plans and specifica tions. The Morrow County School District R-l board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Snider last Tuesday night when over 100 of his friends and rel atives anil their families gath ered at the lone American Leg Ion hall, welcoming him back from his term of service at Nha Trang, Vietnam. The veteran service man, his wife Darlene, and their two children. Mark and Vickl, were honor guests at the pot luck din ner sponsored by the lone Leg ion and Auxiliary. Following the dinner, they were happily surprised with a large money tree from those attending. Mak- lng the gift presentation, and expressing me w arm welcome oi all, was Dick McElllgott. Also, in behalf of the Heppner Leg ion and Auxiliary. Mrs. Frank Hamlin extended their greetings upon his safe return. Entertainment Included a vo cal solo.
