December 17. All officers who wore unable to attend the Greenfield Gr a n g c meeting, were invited to Rhea CTook on January 13. Willows Grange will exemplify the first and sec ond decrees at its next regular meeting. January 22. Rhea ( reek. Lexington." and Green field Granges are invited. A pot luck dinner will be served at r.oon. The executive committee re ported having had the hall sprayed for moths to pro toot the velvet stage curtains. During the lecture hour fol lowing dinner, a Christmas pro gram comprising a candle light ing ceremony, was presented. Santa Claus came for a visit as "Jingle Bells" was being sung, much to the delight i f the ih.ild ret' The Home K. -enemies Club met on Thursday. December l.V at the homo of Mrs. Iac Palm er with Mrs. Marion Palmer as sisting. Nineteen members and one guest. Mrs. Alia Lofton of Mikkalo H EC. were present. Mrs. E. C. Heliker conducted r. beautiful installation service for the following officers: chair man. Mrs. Lee Palmer: vice chairman. Mrs. Lloyd Johnson; secretary. Mrs. Lewis Halvorsen: and Mrs. Berl Akers. treasurer. Secret pals were revealed and names drawn for next year There was an exchange of Christmas gifts. The next meeting will be held on Friday. January 20. at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. M.' E. Cotter as hostess. Mrs. E. C. Hehker left on Tues day for Seattle to spend the hol idays with her daughter, Mrs. Harriet Bolman. He graduated from advanced in fantry training at Kort Lewis last nwnth, where he special ized in small unit tactics and firing large machine guns and rocket launchers. Mrs. Toll attended the gradu ation exercises of her son on November 25, and together they visited her hrother-tn-law and sister.
