The Graybeals visited his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gray lieal. Thev also stopped In Pen dleton and saw his brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Fin lye Graybeal. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wilson and Larry went to Boise. Idaho, over the week-end to help move his son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson and baby to Seattle. Wn.. where John will be employed after re celving his discharge from the Air Force. Rev. and Mrs. Clayton Shep herd, pastor of the First Baptist iirrh it Lincoln City. Ore., were the overnight guests of Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Vaughn. Rev. and Mrs. Vaughn left Thiireriav for the Oregon Bap tist convention which was held at Grant's Pass. They returned Sunday. W. F. Coy was guest speaker at the Sunday morning service in the absence oi kv. Vaughn. Sundav dinner guests of Mr and Mrs. Donald Eppenbach were her folks. Members are also asked to brine gifts for a box which will ho delivered to the State Hos pital in Pendleton. Gifts for women could include lingerie, scans, nosiery, costume jewelry, hair nets, cos metics, textile paints, yarn, cro chet thread and remnants. Genera items are needed for the hospi tal wards, which could be in the line of appliances, recrea tion games, pool tables, and various art supplies. The Pirates will play the Burnt River team of Unity on Saturday, November 19, at 1:30 pm. in the state semi finals. Winner of this game will play in the state championship game. Riverside's first touchdown against Prairie City was made bv Gary Baird on a pass from Chester Phillips. Baird ran the extra point. The second score was made by Bob McRae on a pass from Phillips, out me ex tra point try was missed. Prairie Citv's failure to con vert after two touchdowns meant victory for the Pirates. Coach Dante Daltoso said the Pirates made 449 yaras achieving the victory, as pared with 354 yards visitors. This is the first year that Rlv prsirie has won the 8-man championship, the coach said. Sewing Club Meets The SuDer Stitchers 4-H sew ins club met at the home of Karen Crowell. Our leader, Mrs. Crum, and assistant leader, Mrs. Crowell, were present. The meeting was called to order by the President Cathy Crum. We talked about plans for future meetings. Cassy Chapel and Cindy Ekstrom were asked to give a demonstration for next meeting.
