are so often deprived those In

opportunity for the older "new
comers" to become acquainted
with others with common inter

again in the fall.

games, square dancing, and
special musical entertainment
Those attending are always as
sured a good time, If one should
come for nothing more than to
visit with old friends, or to
make new ones.
There are no dues, but small
contributions are accepted for
incidental expenses.
The "golden agcrs" have been
mooting regularly since its or

given by the neighboring Herm

Mrs. Olyn Hodge, organizer of
the Hermlston club, and Mrs.
John Jackson, club secretary,
made trips to Heppner to help
promote interest and tell of
their own successes and growth.
Several from here also visited
meetings of the Hermlston club.
