Chopin Home Again Ambrose Chapin, who has been hospitalized through the oast week, came home from Pioneer Memorial hospital Tues day. He apparently suffered a light stroke In the night of Ap ril 11. Mrs. Chapin said that he Is getting along fine and that he has no seech or physical Im pairment. Coming to visit the Chapin over the weekend were their son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Slyter, and three sons. Mike, Jeff, and Doug ol Camas. Judy Sherer on EOC Team for Honors In Secretarial Work Miss Judy Sherer. student at Eastern Oregon College of Edu cation, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sherer, lone, was one of a team of Gregg short hand student at the college re cently announced as first place winners nationally In the Col legiate Division of the Interna tional Order of Gregg Artists contest. All students of Dr. Sarah Stein, secretarial education In structor at the college, the team was awarded first place In the contest for outstanding work In stenography. The award Is giv en annually to a team of short hand students for proficiency In Gregg shorthand writing style. The team will receive a trophy cup and Dr. Stein a $25 Savings Bond. The contest Is sponsored by "Today's Secretary," a monthly publication. Dr. Stein's clasa of 1965 re ceived second place, and Judy was also a member of that team. Members will gather at 11:00 a m. and a pot luck luncheon will be served at noon. Mrs. Sylvia Morgan, president, will conduct the business meet ing following the luncheon.
