main corner in town. Open dally, the restaurant serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Facil
ities are provided lor both large and small luncheon and dinner meetings. Normally open at
5 a.m.. the caie will open at 4 am. Mondays throuqh Saturdays beginning April 23 with clos
ing time at midnight Sunday schedule will start at 6 a.m.

STEAKS ARE a specialty of Fred Ott at the
Wagon Wheel. He is shown here at work in
the clean kitchen of the cafe. Mr. and Mrs.
Ott came to Heppner from Burns In 1956. They
have two children, a son. Oakley Ott of Nyssa
and a daughter. Mrs. Rhoda Ann Breeding.

years, and they have owned restaurants la

they operated Fred's Cafe up the street from
the Wagon Wheel.

the cafe, stands amidst tables. Chamber of Commerce meets here every Monday noon. Ron
Leonnig, owner of the Wagon Wheel lounge and the entire building, provided for the new rc.,m
at a considerable investment
