RHEA CREEK Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wright flew home from Apache Junction, Ariz., last Wednesday, and were met In Pendleton by their son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Barton Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Leathers visited with Mr. and Mrs. Sam McDanlel on Friday. On Sunday the McDaniels left for lone to stay at the Lloyd Rice home while they are on a trip to Nev ada. Mrs. Frieda Slocum was in Portland recently to see her mother, Mrs. Frances McMillan. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stevens and family spent last Thursday night In Pendleton as guests of her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brinda. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Clark trav eled to Hermlston last Wednes day. On Tuesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas McDaniel and Iva Lou visited the Marvin Way family in Lexington. Visiting there also were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jensen and family from Walla Walla. Mrs. Jensen is a sister to Zelma McDaniel and Marvin Way. Mjs. Dallas Craber left for Portland Saturday to visit her father, George Thomas. Going to lone one day last week were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hams. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Vester Hams and fam ily and with Mr. and Mrs. La- Verne Hams and family. Cecil McDaniel left Pendleton by plane Friday night for Ketch ikan, Alaska. He will spend a few weeks there working and isiting the Gay Harshman fam-1 ily- Stopping by at the Albert Wright home one day last week were Albert's brothers. Bob from Pilot Rock, and Clayton, from Hermiston. Kenny Howard and James Richardson were out this way Saturday rounding up a couple of Kenny s horses to take oack tn Henrjner. The Percy Cecils trailed their cattle through Hardman Satur day to their mountain ranch. Carroll Davis of Lonerock vis ited the Cecil McDaniel family on Friday.
