Old friend In this area were saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Ida F-steb, 87, at Otis. Oregon, whore she had gone to live with her daughter, Mrs. C. K. Calkins, about a year ago. Death came on Sunday. Decem ber 5 after an Illness of several months. She had been a resi dent of lone for many years before moving to the beach. Becky Doherty. at the Miller home on Sunday. December 5. Filling out the standard re port forms was discussed and the work scheduled for meet ings. Discussion was held on the field judging days. Mark Miller gave a report on "Mite Infestation In Cattle." After the meeting, refresh ments were served and game played. The next meeting will be at the Bernard Doherty home In January. Pastor Boyd said. The money received through this ap peal comprises about 7 of the total cost. The church has In America 2225 welfare centers and units In operation. In 1-t almost two million people received aid from the volunteer workers. Pastor LI wood Boyd said this amounts to four times as much as the total funds given by the pub lic.
