Forest Service timber sale contract, which gov erns sale of government-owned timber to industry, was intro duced and explained to 35 local lumbermen at Pendleton during the evening of July 12- ' Training session on the new contract, which was- updated for the first time since the early 1950's and went' into effect July 1, was sponsored by the Oregon Forest Practice committee," a div ision of Western Wood Products association, Portland.
