Lesley left Thursday for Portland to do some visiting with their daugh ters and families and to go on to the coast to dig clams for a few davs. Mr. and Mrs. Foster Collins received word recently that Mr. Collins' brother-in-law, Fred Rasscn. passed away in Port land. He at one time lived in the Hardman community and a brother of Mr. Rassen had a blacksmith shop. Cecil McDanlel returned home from Ashland last Wednesday where he had spent a few days doctoring.
