Kern ice Thomson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thomson, and Ruth and Martha Peterson, daughters or Mrs. Lucy Peterson, had been un able to get home for Christmas because of the flood, and this was their first opportunity to come home after the holidays. Accompanying them was Gail Hoskins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hokklns, who did man age to get home for Christmas.
