A business meeting was held following the dinner at the Bill Kletmann home, after which dessert was served by the Riet mnnns. Members broucht Christmas gifts to the meeting which were given to the patients at the Pendleon State hospital. The next meetine of the chap ter will be the regular business meeting in January. Club's Oldest Member Honored at Farewell A small club of bridge friends honored Mrs. Grace Nickerson last Tuesday at a farewell party at tne nome ol Mrs. tarl Gil ham. Mrs. Nickerson was the last of the original club that began meeting every other Thursday to play duplicate bridge nearly 30 yeais ago. As a going-away gift, her fri ends presented her with the bock, "The Oregon Desert." Attending were Mrs. A. D. Mc- Murdo, Mrs. Frank Hamlin, Mrs. r'rank Connor, Mrs. Loyal Par ker, Mrs. Marjorie Worden, Mrs. Fred Parrish, Mrs. Gilliam and Mrs Nickerson. Winning game prizes were Mrs. McMurdo, Mrs. Gilliam, Mrs. Worden and Mrs. Hamlin.
