Club Hears Reports Of District Meeting Reports of delegates of the Soroptlmist club of lleppner who had attended the 11th District Meeting of tha Northwestern Region In Ontario on September 26 and 27 were heard at the weekly luncheon meeting last Thuriday. Those who attended were Mrs. Fred Parrish, Mrs. Leta Thomas, Mrs. Wes Sherman, Mrs. Ed Gonty and Mrs. Roice Fulle ton Presiding at tha two-day meet ing at the Moore Hotel was Miss Bernadlne Batters of Van couver. Wn.. district director. Representative were present from 26 of the 28 clubs in the district to hear an outstanding program of speakers, participate In buzz-sessions and social activ ities arranged by the district officers and the host club, assist ed by members of the Baker cluo. A tour of the ORE-IDA Frozen Food plant was also a part of the program. The meeting last week opened wltl: a short candlelight cere mony, honoring the founding of the first Soroptlmist club in Oakland, Calif., on October 3, 1921.
