Galloway who settled in Morrow county on Butter creek many years ago and grandson of John Galloway who was among those who took pictures of the Heppner flood, was a visitor in Heppner Wed nesday. Ruark said that this is the first time that he has been here in many years and was inter ested in tracing family land marks. He hoped to look up the grave of his mother, Edith Gall oway, who he thought might be buried in the Heppner cemetery. Rhea Creek Unit Nets $33 on Sale Rhea Creek Home Extension unit netted $33.65 from its re cent food sale at the Red and White store in Heppner, it was reported at the unit meeting last week with Mrs. Jim West, vice chairman, presiding. Mrs. Albert (Beverly) Wright is chairman. Mrs. John Graves reported on the state council, which will be held in May, and at which Mrs. Wright will prob ably be a delegate. Esther Kirmis, county exten sion agent, led the lesson on "Don't Be in the Dark About Lighting." Cutters Meet The Country Cutters 4-H tlothing club met at the home Of Linda Pettyjohn on Satur day, March 28. We gave team demonstrations on "Fabrics You Will Like." We also talked about the demonstrations we are going to give at the fair. Refreshments were served by Linda. The next meeting will be held at Molly Beckett's.
