AND ELECTION OF
SUPERVISORS
To all owners of land lying with
in the Heppner Soil and Water
Conservation District.
Notice is hereby given that
on the 4th day of February, 196-1,
the annual meeting and the elec
tion of three supervisors of the
Heppner Soil and Water Conser
vation District will be held un
der the provisions of the Soil
Conservation District Law ORS
568.520.
The place of the meeting will
be at the Lexington Grange hall
between the hours of 7:30 P.M.
and 10:00 P.M.
Every person, firm and corp
oration, state, county, or mun
icipality being the record owner
of or holding under contract of
purchase 10 acres or more of
land lying within the said dis
trict are eligible to vote.
The terms of Robert H. Jepsen,
Raymond Lundell, and W. C.
Rosewall expire. Candidates to
fill the board vacancies may be
made by petition signed by 10
land owners. If no candidates
are nominated by petition to fill
the existing vacancies, nomina
tions may be made from floor
during the annual meeting.

Heppner High School for School
District No. R-l, Morrow County,
Oregon, and will then and there
be publicly opened. Bids received
after the time fixed for opening
will not be considered.

prime bidder at the stipulated
deposit sum per set. Additional
sets will be provided upon re
quest at the bidders expense at
$10.00 per set but shall be re
turned without refund. Deposit
sum will be refunded to all but

good condition by the actual bid
ders within two weeks after the

bidders only if returned no later
than seven days prior to the bid

No proposals will be consider
ed unless fully completed in the
manner provided in the Contract
Documents, and accompanied by
certified check, cashier's cflcck
or bid bond (with authorized
surety company as surety) made
payable to the Owner in an
amount of not less than five
per cent of the total amount of
the Base Bid, to be forfeited as
fixed and liquidated damages
should the bidder neglect or re
fuse to enter into a contract and
provide suitable Bond for the
faithful performance of the work
in the event the contract is
awarded to him.
The Owner reserves the right
to reject any or all bids, to
waive informalities, and to make
such awards as it determines to
be in it's best interest.
No bidder may withdraw his
bid after the hour set for the
opening thereof or before award
of the Contract, unless said
award is delayed for a period
exceeding 30 days from date of
bid opening.
