Phone 676-9152. 31-tfc Lunch Program Uses Quantities Of Donated Food During October 960 Oregon schools operating hot school lunch programs received 59 train carloads of donated commodities, according to Dennis Patch, direc tor of the Oregon school lunch program in the State Department of Education. The distributed commodities, donated by the U. S. Department of Agriculture, amounted to 891 tons of food which had a whole sale value of $567,262.00. Foods distributed consisted of frozen chickens, frozen beef, frozen turkeys, butter, cheese, dried eggs, lard, rolled wheat, flour, rice, cornmeal, and dry mlik.
