Wn., spent the week-end here
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gray
beal, and in McNary visiting Mr.
and Mrs. Dale Shingledecker.
Misses Glenda and Barbara
McCorkle were- hostesses for a
surprise birthday party on their
father, Eugene McCorkle, Tues
day evening. Refreshments of
cup cakes, punch and tea were
served to the guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Alva Whittaker
of Scappoose and Mrs. Elnora
Arbogast of Moreland, Okla.,
were week-end guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Cooley. Mrs. Arbo
gast remained in Irrigon to

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Graybeal
left Thursday for the mountains.
They plan to camp and fish in
the Desolation Creek area, and
to hunt.

27-0 victory over Heppner on the
A. C. Houghton football field
