High school principal is Harold Johnson, coming from California; coaching will be Paige Dulaney, coming from Missouri; Mr. Palmer from Prineville, and one more teach er is expected to arrive by Sep tember 1. Teaching In the grade school will be Mrs. Clara Flower, Kim- berly, grades 1 and 2; Mrs. Paige Dulanev, grades 3 and 4: Mr. Harpham from Idaho, grades & and b, and Robert Gertson, grades 7 and 8. Bus drivers are Ernie Johnson, Cecil Rinehart, and Ruby Gien ger. Cooks are Ruby Gienger and Jessie Scott. Janitors are Mr. and Mrs. Mead Gllman. Mrs. Georgia Wynn of Pendle ton came Monday after her three children, Billy, Sandra and Lin da, who had spent two weeks here with their grandmother, Mrs. Lula Settle. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kingman came back Monday from visit ing a week in Washington with his folks, then they spent tho nast week with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Matteson, and with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Scott and two sons. A brother, Dale L. Matte son, came from Athena for the week-end. They left Saturday for Alturas, Calif., to visit another brother, erne, then on home to faacramento, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Huff and children moved back to John Day Tuesday from their summer home in the mountains. He teaches 7th grade in John Day. Mrs. Ellen Moore, Mrs. Edna Moore, Stanley Boyer and son, Jerry and daughter, LaVelle, drove to John Day Thursday to join Mrs. Boyer and Jimmy. Jacky Moore showed 411 stock at the county fair. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hudson and three children of La Grande have moved into the Tom Ross home in Hamilton where Jerry will be employed at the Kerns Ranch. Mrs. Francis Noland and four children left Sunday evening to spend the week at Prineville with her sister and family, the Ansil Martins. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Louis and children drove to Pendleton Sat urday where they traded for a pickup and did some shopping. Mrs. Vesta Durbin and child ren spent the week-end here with her mother, Mrs. Reeta Hinton. Mr. and Mrs. Ansil Martin and sons of Prineville visited Sunday with their folks, the Ernie John sons and Henry Martins. Mrs. Ann Shaffer of Cecil and her daughter, Mrs. Doris Clerf of Kittitas, Wn and her two daugh ters were here Saturday for their cousin's wedding. Twenty-seven people gathered Saturday at the Jack Couture home in Fossil for a family reunion. On Sunday they met at the George Capon home and vis ited Delsia Sweek, who stays with her daughter, Doris Capon.
