SPEAKING OF vacation time,
have you thought of trailer
traveling? In talking with the
Charles Knox family I found they
arevery enthuised about it and
about the state parks for over
night camping. Mother still has
to cook, but the whole family
pitches in and it all turns out to
be more of a game. Our family
has enjoyed "camping out" with
the camp trailer and it is defi
nitely for us. Besides the fun
and enjoyment, the camping
ideas has its economical advant
ages! ooo

LAST WEEK-END was not the
week-end for the "Browns"
Paul and Betty; Maurice and
Nan! While the Paul Browns
were gone their black Labrador
dog was run over and killed, and
the Maurice Browns lost their
cat while they were away. Heard
they were still looking for it. As
Betty said, "Why do we have
pets, because we do become at
tached to them, and of course
there is always the possibility
of losing them?" But they be-

though Boots, our dog, was sup
posed to be a bird-type dog and
always runs for cover every time
we shoot a gun!

FOR SUMMER time eating and a
minimum of cooking time, use
cold cuts and frankfurters tor
meat on your menus. With the
hot weather many will be cook
ing out of doors. This means
steaks and hamburgers and to
comlete the meal, foil wrap po
tatoes and corn on the cob and
place on the barbecue. The
potatoes and corn may be rubbed
with butter before wrapping and
add salt and pepper to the corn.
They will take about an hour to
cook on the barbecue. To add a
crisp cool treat to the menu serve
a tossed green salad with ice
