Mrs. June Hutchinson took her father, Joe Whitaker, to John Day November 14 where he en tered the Blue Mountain hos pital for treatment on his in ured foot. Unit Studies Rug Care The Boardman Extension unit met Tuesday of last week at the home of Mrs. Walter Hayes, with Mrs. Rollin Bishop co-hostess. Visitors were Mrs. A. R. Fort ner and Mrs. Jeff Hayes. The subject was "Rugs and Upholstery," with Mrs. Dewey West and Mrs. Don Downey lead ers. They discussed the clean ing and care of rugs and up holstery, the different kinds of cleaner, and equipment to be used. In the absence of Mrs. Earl Brlggs,, president. Mrs. Nathan Thorpe, county committee mem ber, presided. Due to Christmas activities. there will be no December meet ing of the unit. The next one will be January 15 at the home of Mrs. Thorpe.
