ALBERT PARTLOW Mr. and Mrs. Gene Andrews and two-week old son, Kenneth Gene, of Portland, spent four days with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Zehner. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Miller left Thursday, for a fishing trip in the Desolation area, where they will join Mr. and Mrs. Dave Graybeal, who went earlier in the' week. Both families took their camp trailers, and plan to stay several days. Mr anrl Mrs. Sam Snvder, Mike, Vivian Templeton and Frances McDonald have returned home from btocmon, i,aiu., where thev visited Alice and Mike Califf. Howard Califf, who had spent a month with Alice and Mike, returned home with thp finvders. and Vivian Temple ton remained with the Califfs in Stockton for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Zehner and four children of Portland, were overnitrht euests of Mr. and Mrs. Vlmpr Zehner. Also visiting at the Zehner home are Nicki r:nWcin if V.npene and Mattiel Zehner of Portland. The girls are staying for two weeks. The fire truck was called to the Abercrombies Friday, July 20. to extinguish a grass fire that came quite close to their dwell ing. LaVelle Partlow and Dbnna Isom drove to Richland, Wn. Wednesday evening to hear a concert presented by the Black wood Brothers quartet. The con cert was held in the First Naz arene church. Mr. and Mrs. Frankie B. Pum mel and daughters, Serena and Crishara of Salem visited his brother, Perry Pummel, and fam iiv Tiiosrtnv. Julv 17. Miss Linda Early, daughter of Mr. nnH Mrs. Charles Early, at tended Ascension Summer school at Cove, July 5 through 15. Mimi jivnf?e of Stanfleld went to rnmn with Linda. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Coy have moved into one of the Partlow duplex apartments. The six-month old infant son tn Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland pass ed away July 19 at the Good Shepherd hospital. Mr. Cleveland is stationed In the Marine Corps at Okinawa, and will fly home. The Clevelands moved to Irri gon the first of the week. Jeannie Edwards and three children of Pendleton are spend ing the week with her mother, Mrs. Elmer Zehner and family. Mrs. Richard Price and child ren visited her mother, Mrs. Karl Sanders and family from July ,11 through 22. Monday July 23, they will go to Arling ton to visit Mrs. Price's sister, Mrs. Jim Kornev. and from there to The Dalles to see her other sister, Mrs. Carl Russell and family. After her visit, Mrs. Price will co to San Diego and from there to the east coast. She wi then flv to Tripoli Libia, Africa, where she will ioin her husband who is stationed at Wheeler A.F.B. Mrs. Price Is the former Perev Sanders. Mr. and Mrs. James McRae nnd Bobbv have returned home from vacationing in southern Oreeon. Thev visited Mrs. Me- Rae's son, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Steaeall and family at Madias, and from there they went to Klamath Falls to see Mr. and Mrs. Harry Noble and girls and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Shattuck. They also attended a rodeo in Klamath Falls where their daughter Helen's husband, Harry Noble nnrtli'lnated and won the saddle lirone ride. He also placed in the H ni ma bull ride. Mr. and Mrs. Klbert Eppen- bach and family left for a trip to the coast and on to Beale Air Viwcp Base in California to see their son Don, who is stat ioned there.
