Altar Guild Plans November Card Party A card party to raise funds for the St. Therese unit of St. Patrick's Altar guild is scheduled for Thursday, November 30 In the parish hall. The members made plans for the party at the meeting on November 7. The pro ject for the year is to replao cooking kettles needed for the parish hall kitchen and will use the proceeds from the card party. Ul I leers ol the unit are Mi s. They sang "Wooden Heart" and "Wines of a Dove." Also on the program, was the burning of the mortgage by Mrs. Roy Neill on the completion of purchase of apartment building property from Mrs. Ernie Win chester. Mrs. J. W. Two large baskets of bronze and yellow mums decorated the chuich with yellow candles with brown bows at windows for the candlelight ceremony. A reception followed in the church basement with the Christ Ian Women's fellowship in charge. The newlyweds cut the fiist piece of the 4 -tier white and pink cake and the ladies contin ued serving. Rainbow For Girls To Sell Doughnuts A doughnut sale to raise money for the Rainbow for Girls service projects will be Satur day morning, November IS. The girls will make the dough nuts at Shannon Mahoney's home and sell them door-to-door through town. They will be treat ed to a luncheon at the Masonic hall following the sales.
