Miss Strickland vUlted her prandparenta at Joplin, Mo, end Mrs. Soward drve to Memphis, Tenn, to visit her daughter and family and to bring Mr. Soward back with her. They have a new gramlwm there, Daniel Roy Creetibalgh. born July 10. who was their sixth grandchild. She was able to see all of the grandchildren on Ihe trip, as their son and family came from Austin, Texas, to Mus kogee, Okla, to Juln them for an overnight visit while on their return trip home. At the last minute. Mr. Soward was forced to remain In Mem phis for some dental work. He will do some supply preaching during August and return to Heppner later. Livestock Club Meets The Rhea Creek Livestock club railed tA order on August 6 at the liart Clark home after n pot luck dinner w hich was very good. Archie Ball led us In the 4 H pledge and we had roll call and the secretary reaa ine min utes. We discussed demonstra tions for the fair and also talked Hhnnt the fair.
