is moving ahead rapidly on the
large Crowsnest Compressor Sta
tion and ground has been broken
on the Cranbrook maintenance
base and the border meter sta
tion at Kingsgate.
Alberta Construction Is pro
ceeding rapidly on the Alberta
Gas Trunk Line Company's 351
miles of main line, on gathering
laterals from the Alberta gas
fields and on a delivery lateral
to Montana.
California One construction
crew has placed more than 100
miles of pipe in the ground north
of the Oregon border. A second
is moving south down the Sac
ramento Valley. Work has begun
on crossings of the Sacramento
and San Joaquin rivers near San
Francisco Bay.
More than 4,000 men have
been at work building the 36
inch diameter pipeline.
