hurt. Both men returned to Rich
land that afternoon.

baby weighed nine pounds, eight
ounces.
The county extension unit held
its last meeting for this year at
the home of Mrs. W. G. Sechafer
last week. Mrs. Scehafer and
Mrs. G. C. Deits gave demonstra
tion on a "Low Calorie Lunch
eon," serving a meal with only
520 calories, consisting of a
chrimn salad, cottace cheese dip
with vegetables, rye krisp and
ice cream with blueberry top
ping. The next meeting will be
held In September.
Patty Miller, 15-y e a r o 1 d
daughter of Mrs. Russell Miller,
escaped serious injuries last
week when she fell from her
horse while riding. She was ta
ken to the Good Shepherd hos
pital in Hermiston, where she
was treated and released after
staying there overnight. She re
mained in bed several days at
home.

point, Idaho, visited last week
at the homes of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Myron Watts, and
