Palo Mat teson. and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Farra and son, James. Children Attend Valentine Party A Valentine party at the Blak ney home was an exciting time for twenty-three children Won day afternoon. Young People Set Social Events Young people of the Assem bly of God gathered at the Rev. Homer Wolfington home Thurs day evening, Feb. 9 for games, valentine exchanges, refresh ments, and devotions. It was decided to have a sim ilar social time on the fourth Thursday evening of each month. After the regular meeting was concluded they had a program In conjunction with the missionary work. Mrs. Bob Cantonwine was in charge of a missionary skit. The offering for missionary work was given at the conclusion of the program. Birthday Party A blrhday party was held hon oring Kirk Robinson on his seventh birthday, Thursday, Feb. 9 at 3:00 in the meeting room at the city hall. Games, refresh ments and favors were enjoyed by those attending, who were Abbie Wilson, Mary Katherine Campbell, Teresa Wright, Bobbie Ployhart, and David Eckman. Wolff and Mrs. Lovgren. The pinochle winners so far are Mrs. Darren Padberg and Mrs. Clyde Petyjohn for north south and Mrs. Joe Wright and Frank Hamlin high for east- west. The Tuesday night winners were Mrs. Pettyjohn and Mrs. Padberg high for north-south, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Keithley were second. Mrs. John Berg- strom and Mrs. Madge Bryant were high for east-west and Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Hamlin were second.
