Calif., came In Saturday afternoon to spend the week end visiting their friends and relatives, the Harry Scotts, Ellis Hunts, Elmer Mattesons, and II. D. Hintons. Mrs. June Hutchison and her father, Joe Whltaker, on their way to Heppner Wednesday aft ernoon had the misfortune to hit some slick ice on Hardman hill; thev ended ud head in bank. June was not hurt, and Joe had a small cut on right eye, and swollen lip. The Fulleton Garage truck towed them In to town. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hunt of Wagon Tire, Ore., spent the week end here visiting friends and relatives. Ellis Hunts, H. V. Hin tons and the Hunt children. They returned home Sunday evening. The M.M.M. Club held a spe cial meeting Monday afternoon nt thp home of Mrs. Elmer Mat teson to atend to some relief work that had come up since last meeting.
