The rooma were beautifully decorated In the holiday theme with many of the decoiatlona be Ins made by the membert at the November meeting. These are to le clven to the patlrnta at the Nundng Home In the rtoneer Memorial hospital for Christmas. A Christmas greeting letter was read from Mrs. Ken Keeling who now lives in La Grande. Christmas cards were written to three members who have moved tMl pant year. Mrs. Riy Smith, Mr. Ken Keeling, and Mrs. Fred Trussing. A gift of a planter was pre sented to past president. Mrs. Role Fulleton In appieclation of her year's work. Games representing traditions around the world were played with a Mexican final bring brvken and Santa Lucia bring rlivn by th group. Mr. Robrrt Junes was the honored member and was crowned with a Santa Lucia crown and presented at gift Christmas carols were played and sung by the group and the club was favored with a aoK "Sweet Llttl Jesus Boy", by Vic Krelmeycr. The Christmas decoration ex change was held with many of the decorations hand made. Refrehments of fruitcake and splee tea with a backrround of Christmas mulc by Vic Krle. meyer. The door prlte wit won by Mrt Gordon llutchens. Invited guests for the evening were: Mrs. Robert Booth. Mrs. Tim Moore, Mrs. Fred Glmbel, Mrs. Sam Nagel. Mrs. Earl Ayers. Mrs. llutchens, and Mrs. Richard Ha worth. The next meeting will be Jan. 9 at Mrs. N. C. Anderson's home. Turner acted as Installing of ficer for the Royal Arch Masons, with Paul Jones as Installing marshal and Claude Graham as installing chanlaln. The installation ceremonies were preceded by a turkey din ner, prepared by the ladles of the Eastern Star, headed by Mrs. Oliver Creswlck. worthy matron, and Mrs. J. R. Huffman, associate matron. They were assisted In the serving of the dinner by members of the Ruth Assembly, Order of the Rainbow. A panel from HeDDner Hleh School stu dents ronslstlnc of Larry Tibbies, Dennis Fcrgeson, Mike Hcaly and Sandra Jones explained the establishment, purposes and need of a Human Rights agree ment among nations. Mrs. Paul Jones was also a guest. Mrs. Elaine S. George presided as actinfj president. Members brought gifts to be sent In a Christmas package to Falrvlew Home at Salem. It was announ- rpd that the club's annual Christmas party would be held Monday evening, DecemDer iy, at the home of Mrs. James G. Thomson. At this narty gifts are prepared for patients at Veter ans hospital in Walla Walla and Christmas dinner baskets for elderly persons without families. Mrs. Green Receives S Gift For 'New Home The Past Noble Grand club met at the new home of Mrs. r-nmntt Green. Dec. 5. A short business meeting was held with Mrs. C. J. D. Bauman, club presi dent, presiding. Nineteen mem bers were present. Mrs. Green had portrayed the Christmas theme with beautiful decorations thro u g h o u t her home. A gift was presented Mrs. Green for her new home by club members. Games were played and refreshments served by the hostess and co-hostesses, Mrs. Don Robinson and Inez Hurr man.
