Members are selected and appointed so thnt, so far as possible, different areas or neighborhoods are rep resented. The Farmers Home Admin Istration makes annual or Inter mediate term loans to farmers who need adequate funds to buy equipment and livestock, and longer term loans to build or re pair houses and other essential farm buildings, and to purchase or improve land suitable for family-type farm operations. It also advances credit to farmers or their non profit as sociations to establish and carry out approved soil and water con servation practices, and to in stall and Improve Irrigation and farmstead water facilities. Young adult books Include, Summer of Surprise, Reynolds; Patty Linn at the Grand Canyon, Lawson; Storm Over Warlock, Norton; The Boy Who Won the World Series, Of fit; The Auto matic Strike, McCormlck; Space Police, Norton. There have also been a num ber of juvenile books added. Mrs Brown reports that 1030 books were checked out of the li brary during August.
