Adding up the totals for the summer of play the Indians are in first place with 10 wins. 7 losses, 1 Came to be played; the Braves In second with 9 wins, 7 losses 1 game to be played; and 1 railed came; the Giants In third with 9 wins, 8 losses, and 1 came to be played; and the Dodgers have 3 wins, 13 losses, and 1 game to be played. The Indians continued their winning ways by trouncing the Giants 22 to 4 last Wednesday. The Indians picked up 1 run In the first and went on to score In every Inning. The Giants were hold scoreless until the third when they picked up 1 run and got 3 In the 4th to end their scoring. Williams pitched for the Indians, Leonnlg, Munkers, and O'Donncll pitched for the Giants. On Thursday the game be tween the Dodgers and Braves was called because of darkness. The Dodgers were leading. Then on Monday the Braves didn't have their nine players so had to forfeit the game to the Giants. The Braves used L Pettyjohn and played the game for practice with Braves winning 1G to 6. Tuesday the Indians took an other from the Dodgers behind the pitching of Williams who allowed no runs on 1 hit. Pitch ing for the Dodgers were Robin son and Labhart.
