Mrs Pad berg and Mm Walter Cor ley served refreshments. Mrs Walter Jacobs was elec ted president of the Topic club at a meeting . Friday afternoon at the home of Mm Fannie Grif fith. Other officers elected were Mm Garry Tullis. vice president and Mrs David Baker, secretary treasurer. The roll call was an swered by giving a few lines of a favorite poem and giving a book to the public library. The program books were given out for the coming year. For the pro gram, Mm Rod MacKenzie read poems and told of the different kinds of poems. Refreshments were served by Mrs Griffith, Mrs MacKenzie and Mrs Arvllla Swanson.
