Books will be ordered soon for the library for this fall and for summer reading for the children. Procram sueirestlons for the Topic club for the coming year will be brought to the April meeting which will be held at the home of Mrs Verner Treed son, April 8. Mr and Mrs Donald L Olm- schied are the parents of a daughter, Amelia, born at the Pioneer Memorial hospital March 9. Weight. 7 lbs and 8 oz. The grandparents are Mr and Mrs Joe Olmshied of Portland and Mrs E W Johnson of Refugio, Texas. The Olmshled's three other children are with their grandparents In Portland. Mr Olmshied is the 8th grade teacher In the lone school. Kav Bercstrom. daughter of Mr and Mrs Roland Bergstrom, Is visiting her grandparents, Mr and Mrs Lee Marcum in Portland.
