Social Rsportst Oliver Creswick Tells Soroptimists About Atomic Fallout Oliver Creswick was guest (speaker at the Thursday noon meeting of the Soroptlmlst Club of Heppner, when he told the group about atomic fall out and facts concerning atomic explos ions. He gave a very Interesting dis cussion on what to expect and what to be prepared for in case an atomic bomb did fall in this area. The Easter Seal campaign was discussed and the club will a gain this year have charge of the campaign for Morrow county. Mrs Glass Speaks At Extension Unit Meet The I!hea Creek Extension unit met January 6 at the home of Mrs Ortn Wright. Miss Esther Kirmis and Mrs Velma Glass visited the meeting and Miss Kirmis discussed plans for 'the coming festival, April 29, fur which Rhea Creek will be hostess. Betty Angel I Has Eleventh Birthday Betty Angell celebrated her eleventh birthday with a dinner party and sledding Tuesday evening at the home of her par ents, Mr and Mrs Jim Angell. Betty's guests were Marilyn Bailey, Peggy Snyder, Kristy Koenig and Kerry Huggett. Birthday cake and ice cream were enjoyed following the sledding.
