A potlutk dinner wai held at noon with Mra Mabel Cotter and Mrs Jsmes Lindsay In charge. At the business mwting conducted by Leo Crabtree, master, Alvln Mc C.i he was given the obligation In the 1st and 4th degrees. It wan reported that Herbert Ekstrom and sons received the title of Cattleman of the Year, 19G0. He hi a member of Willows grange. Jan 20 was set to paint the kitchen and dining room of the hall. It was also decided to see about siding for part of the outside of the hall. Resolutions will be sent to State grange fa vorlng the turning back the bombing range to the county. Mrs Ernest Heliker and Mr and Mrs O L Lundell are on the resolutions committee. The char ter was draped In memory of the late Peter Timm. Games were led by Gall Batty-Refreshments were served by Joan Van Houte and her mother. The refreshments were fresh doughnuts, maple bars and not cocoa. Carol Rawlins, reporter The lone Cardinals won the basketball game with Riverside at Boardman Friday evening of last week. They lost the Jayvee game. They also won from Con don here Saturday evening but the Jayvees lost The 5th and Cth grades won from Heppner here Saturday afternoon and the 7th and 8th grades lost. The freshmen were very suc cessful on the supper they serv ed at the school cafctorlum Sat urday evening. The grade school enjoyed a party after their games Satur day afternoon.
