Boardman Nevs Mr and Mrs T J Rippee, for mer residents here, and their daughter, Mrs Frank Connor of Heppner, were visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs Arnln Hug Wednesday of last week. A pot luck dinner was held at noon in their honor by old friends. Pres ent were Mr and Mrs Nels Kris tensen, Mr and Mrs Seth Russell and Mrs Elvln Ely. Other friends called during the afternoon. Mr and Mrs Keith Ferguson (Wanda Hug) left last week to go to Natchez, Wash to visit Mrs Ferguson's brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mrs Sid Ferguson, after visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs Arnin Hug. From Natchez they will go to Seattle, Wash, where Ferguson will seek employment Ernabel Peck, accompanied by her aunt, Mrs Fred Smith, Sr of Dallesport, Wash, has return ed from a three weeks trip east They went first to Detroit, Mich where they visited at the home of Miss Peck's brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mrs Tony Zlellnskl. They were joined there by Jerry Peck, who had been visiting there after receiving his discharge from the army, after being stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo for five months. The three then went on to Washing ton, D C, where Peck returned to Detroit The ladies then went on to New York, returning by way of the southern route, vis iting Miami, Fla., New Orleans, La and other points. Mrs Mabel Peck went by plane to Detroit where she visited two weeks at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, then she and Jerry Peck returned home. Mrs Darrell Marlow is in Bel vldere, 111 visiting her mother, Mrs Opal Poe, and other rela tives. The home of Mr and Mrs Mor ris McCarl was the scene on Friday evening of the wedding of Miss Grace Marshall of Har risburg, Ore to Lowell Kitterman also of Harrisburg. Performing the ceremony was the Rev Wal ter Smith of the Lexington Christian church. Mr and Mrs McCarl served as witnesses for the couple. Following the cer emony, cake and coffee were served.
