turned home Sunday from Port
land where they visited her son
and familly, Mr and Mrs Jerry
Holly. Mrs Dobyns also spent a
week in Seattle where she visited
her other son and family, Mr and
Mrs Russell Holly, also her new
granddaughter, Kymbra LaRene
Holly.

the juniors will meet at the
home of Mrs Vester Haras
for a meeting. Election of
officers will be held.
Oct 31 The P-TA will sponsor
UNICEF Halloween. Child
ren will go to the school in
the evening for their boxes
to collect money to be given
to needy children. A party
will be held afterwards at
the school.
Nov 4 Rod MacKenzie will be
officially ordained as min
ister at the Community
church by the Mid Columbia
Association. A meeting will
be held in the afternoon and

Mrs David Baker was honored
with a baby shower at the home
of Mrs Franklin Lindstrom Fri
day afternoon Oct 16. Those
coming from a distance were her
mother, Mrs Henry Gorger, and

of Pendleton and Mrs Clarence
Baker and Lynda of Heppner.
Mrs Bennett assisted with the
gifts. The hostesses were Mrs
