school gymnasium Tuesday
evening of last week. Mrs Hen

The teacher's reception held
for the Lexington teachers and
gi'en by the Lexington P-TA,
was at the 0 W Cutsforth ranch.
The teachers were presented
with corsages and duly intro
duced to the visitors. They an
nounced their enrollments as
follows, first grade, Miss Fern
Bonnell with 20, second grade,
Mrs Donalda Knighten with 17,
third grade, Mrs Roberta Davis
with 11, and 4th grade, Mrs
C C Carmichael, 14. After a most
enjoyable evening, refreshments
were served.
Mr and Mrs M V Nolan en
tertained with" a dinner on Sun
day honoring their daughter and
husband, Mr and Mrs Franklin
Miles on their wedding anniver
sary. Present were Mrs Miles
grandparents, Mr and Mrs Bert
Peck, Mr Miles parents, Mr and
Mrs Jim Dunbar, and the Miles
children, Glenn and Donna, Vern
Nolan and the hosts for the day.
