Garden Club Sets lone Flower Show Date As Sept 13

The lone Garden club met at
the home of Mrs Fredrick Martin
Tuesday afternoon, Aug 11 with
Mrs Lawrence Jones and Mrs
Echo Palmateer as co-hostesses.
At the business meeting conduc
ted by Mrs Martin, president, it
was decided to hold the annual
flower show Sept 13 at the Leg

Bobby Ball, son of Mr and Mrs
Donald Ball fractured his right
hand last week while playing.
He was taken to the Pioneer
Memorial hospital for treatment
where he spent two days. The
Ball's other son, Jay, was bitten
on the ear by a dog last week
and was taken to Heppner for
treatment.

returned home last week from
a fishing trip near Bend. Their

met them there.
