Mrs Arlie Rahn and daughters, Cathy and Robin, of Seattle spent last week with her parents, Mr and Mrs Cecil Thome. They were accompanied by Dianna Mar quette. Mr Rahn came after them Sunday. Mrs John Turner of Baker spent last week with her mother, Mrs Olive Eneleman. and other ' relatives. Mr and Mrs Fredrick Martin spent last week with relatives in Dallas and also went to Champoeg Park. Their son, Ralph, spent th week at the Methodist church camp at Suttte Lake. SP4 and Mrs Joseph Kalister of St Louis Missouri are visiting her father, Noel Dobyns. Kalister is with the armed forces and will return to St Louis for a few davs and then co to Fort Carson, Colorado for his discharge. Mrs Kalister will remain here until he returns. Mr and Mrs Lingerfelt and children of Bend were recent vis itors at the Fredrick Martin home. Mrs Fannie Griffith is visiting her daughter and family, Mr and Mrs Dwight Haugen in Os wego. Mrs David Baker entertained at a tea Thursday, August 6 in honor of her sister-in-law, Mrs Ivan Orton of Portland. He was a former music instructor in the lone schools. He will teach music in Prineville this year.
