Guests thi3 past two weeks
at the A F Majeske home has
been brothers of Mr Majeske,
Emil of Kalamazoo, Mich and
Hermann and wife of Beaverton,
Oregon. This is the first time
in 48 years that the brothers
have seen each other. Other
guests were sisters of Mrs Ma
jeske, Mrs Hattie Dornbrack and
daughter, Verna, of Wausua, Wis
and Mrs Wates Slckler of Rlngle,
Wis. also Mrs Jack Mounts and
son of Amboy, Washington,
daughter of Mr and Mrs Ma
joske.

callers at the home of her par
ents, Mr and Mrs A F Majeske.
Mr and Mrs Cecil Jones and
children were called to Portland
Sunday by the death of Mrs
Jones's aunt, Mrs Elsie Cavin,
while on vacation near Hermis
ton on Friday afternoon.
Mr Courtney of Portland was
a caller at the Walter Smith
home one day last week.
Rose Ann Shanks Is visiting
her brother Johnnie at the Gar
Leyva home this week.
Mrs Gar Leyva is visiting her
sister and mother at Shumalet
for a few days.
Louise, Hank and Tom Pointer
were host and hostess for a party
on Sunday afternoon at the
Pointer ranch honoring Penny
and Bill Parsons who are leav
ing soon to make their home In
Portland. The . afternoon was
spent in eating and visiting.
Charlene Jones was hostess on
Monday night for a personal
shower honoring Penny Parsons,
The following girls were present,
Janet and Carol Ann Palmer,
Judy Darnielle, Louise Pointer,
Beverly Davidson and the hos
tess. Mrs Bill Parsons served the
punch.
The Women s Fellowship group
met at the C C Jones home on
Tuesday with Lola Breeding as
hostess. After the business meet-
ng, Miss Sylvia Severance gave
most interesting and instruc
tive talk on her life In Formoa
where she served as a mission
ary. At this time she showed a
table of the hand craft sent back
from that country. Devotlonals
were given by Mrs Cora Allyn.
Those present were: Mrs Allyn,

McMillan, May Campbell, Del
pha Jones, Sylvia Severance, and
Lola Breeding. The next meeting
will be held at the Mitzie Peek
home.
