The Women's Fellowship group
of the Christian church met at
the home of Mrs LaVeme Hen
derson on Tuesday afternoon. The
meeting was called to order by
the president, Mrs Florence Mc
Millan. After the reading of the
minutes, election of officers for
the coming year was held with
the following being elected: Mrs
Mrs Florence McMillan, presi
dent Rena Marquardt, vice presi
dent; Delpha Jones, secretary;
and Mrs La Verne Henderson,
treasurer. At this meeting work
was started on the baptismal
robes. It was also an n o u n c e d
that those wishing to do fancy
work for the group could do so,
and a bazaar would be held at
a later date. Devotlonals for the
day were given by Rev Norman
Northrup. Refreshments were
served to Mrs Trina Parker, Mrs
Cora Allyn, Mrs Mae Campbell,
Mrs Barbara Cutsforth, Mrs Flor
ence McMillan, and Mrs Delpha
Jones and the hostess, Mrs Hen
derson. The next meeting will
be at the W E McMillan home
in April.
