Games were played with prizes going to Delbert Wright, Mrs Marie Lesley and Charlotte Walker. Ida Lee Chapel assisted Mrs Breeding in the opening of the gifts. Mrs Hall won first prize lor the afternoon, and Mrs Bill Bar- Elks Entertain at Party For County High School Students Friday evening the Heppner, lone and Lexington high school students were entertained by Heppner lodge No 358, BPO Elks with a party at the Elks temple from 8:00 to 11:00 p m. Dancing to the music of Gene Rietmann's orchestra and games were enjoyed' during the even ing and refreshments were pre pared and served by the Sor optimist Club of Heppner with Mrs Frank Connor as chairman and those assisting her were Mrs C E McQuarrie, Mrs Joe Wright, Mrs Roice Fulleton, Mrs Oliver Creswick, Mrs Pearl Devine, Mrs Grace Nickerson, Mrs William Collins, Mrs E E Gonty, Mrs Con ley Lanham and Mrs James Thomson. Lei Uemura Visits At Wolff Home Dr and Mrs Wallace Wolff had as their guest for the sprine holiday, Miss Lei Uemura of HIlo, Hawaii. Miss Uemura is a soph omore at the University of Ore gon where she has been active in the University theater. She recently enacted the role of the Small One in Its production of "The Land of the Dragon", a Chinese fantasy, on the campus and in surrounding public schools. On Thursday, March 23, she shall be present at a dance re cital by Miss Jean Erdman of New York and on the weekend shall attend a dance conference sponsored by the physical edu cation teachers of Oregon at the Multnomah Hotel in Portland. Miss Uemura was guest of hon or at a coffee hour at the Wolff home and at a dinner given by Mrs Tom Wilson. Other hostess es included Miss Judy Collins, Miss Sally Cohn, and Mrs Zetta Brosnan. . Three Initiated By Rainbow Girls Ruth Assembly, Rainbow for Girls held initiation last Monday evening at their regular meet ing.
