District President of Women's Auxiliary Visits Church Group Mrs Lawrence Lutcher. Drest. dent of the Women's Auxiliary missionary district of Eastern Oregon of the Episcopal church, was guest sneaker at the main auxiliary meeting at All Saints' Episcopal parish house last Mon day evening. Her topic was her triD to Miami, which she illustrated with colored slides taken on her trip. She was InMiamI as a dele gate representing this district at a national meeting. Mrs Lutcher is from Milton- Freewater and was acconmanied by her aunt, Mrs Bertam War ren. They are both formerly of Heppner, and while here stayed at the home of Mr and Mrs Ebb Hughes. Mr Hughes is the bro- tner or Mrs Lutcher. Interesting side notes were the ract tnat Mrs Lurcher's mother. the late Mrs Percy Hughes was also president of the Women's auxiliary missionary district of Eastern Oregon and the fact that Mrs Lutcher's father, Percy Hughes, was the first child to be baptised Into the Heppner Epis copal church..
