The students and their many guests from lone and Heppner enjoyed an evening of dancing and later they were served cider and doughnuts by a committee of room mothers. The gym was decorated with orange and black crepe paper and bales .of straw. Those from Lexington attend Ine the Lewis and Clark-Llnfleld football game In Portland over the weekend were Mr and Mrs Archie Munkers and Mr and Mrs Jim Bloodsworth. Those from Lexineton attend ing the Oregon State-Universtiv of Washington game in Portland over the weekend were Mr and Mrs Tad Miller, Mr and Mrs Bill Doherty and sons, and Mr and Mrs Don Hatfield. Mr and Mrs Carl Marquardt and children were visitors in Mitchell at the T E Messenger Sr home over the weekend. Alex Hunt is a patient in Good Samaritan hospital in Portland. His sons, Edwood visited him over the weekend. Mrs Jo Irvin is employed at the Lexington Cafe In the absence of Mrs Berniece Wihlon who is ill. Miss Dona Barnett, who is a patient in Emanuel hospital in Portland and who has been re ported suffering with pnuemonia, is reported to be greatly improv ed at the present time. Mr and Mrs Frank Vandenool were visitors Monday; night at me fcarl Warner home and also visited Mrs Bertha Hunt. Thev are from Smelterville, Idaho. The Lilian C Turner smorgas bord which was held Sunday night at the Lexington grange NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING hall was well attended.
